Course Summary

Direction 07.04.01 "Architecture" - Masters

Qualification: master of architecture (program "Architecture of residential and public buildings"). 
Form of training: full-time (2 years) 
Entrance examinations: computer testing on general cultural competencies, computer testing on professional competencies (under the program of the corresponding bachelor's degree), examination on special professional competences (established by the departmental competitive commission).

The field of professional activity of graduates who have mastered the master's program includes:

  • research and design (creation, transformation, preservation, adaptation, use) of a harmonious, comfortable and safe artificial environment and its components, control of project implementation;
  • performance of communicative, intermediary functions in the relations between the customer, the construction contractor, the local community and other interested parties in the formulation, clarification and promotion of project solutions;
  • management of the research and design process, organization of the project company, administration of the architectural and design industry and the process of creating an artificial habitat at local and regional levels;
  • theoretical comprehension, critical analysis and assessment of the prerequisites, methods, results of architecture as a sphere of knowledge and industry, examination of project solutions;
  • architectural pedagogy, the realization of the objectives of architectural education.

The objects of professional activity of graduates who have mastered the master's program are the artificial environment of a person with its components (cities, other settlements, buildings and structures, their complexes and fragments - with life support systems, security, landscapes) and the processes of modeling, creating and using it and society.
