Russian language is very difficult but I like it

Don Pero Konapungu, Democratic Republic of Congo (Africa). Graduated in: -

I study Russian as a foreign language at Samara State University of Economics since December 2017. I am going to enter in the University this summer after Russian course; I’d like to study Management here. I feel here very well, the Russian language is very difficult but I like it.

I’d recommend to all foreign students to join the student community of SSUE!

Youcef Touahir, Algeria (Africa). Graduated in: -

There are good conditions for students here: comfortable study rooms, two – storeyed library with laptops and Internet connection. SSUE supports healthy living, there is a sport complex “Chaika” there; a beautiful lake behind the University; University’s events hall.

We have a very homely atmosphere in our group. The professors are very high qualified teachers. There is a very high professional team at the University.

I’d recommend to all foreign students to join the student community of SSUE!

My stay at the SSEU was definitely a journey worth it.

Joerg Schmidt, Germany. Graduated in: 2016

“My stay at the SSEU was definitely a journey worth it. From a personnel perspective, it was an enriching experience, both because of the new but very pleasant cultural environment and mentality of the people in Samara as well as the new friendships I was able to tie and to hold. Also the support of the SSUE in every organizational aspect helped me a lot to deal with bureaucratic issues, e.g. Visa or the accreditation of German degrees. Besides studying, there was also time left to travel across Russia, thus I conducted together with a colleague a journey to Moscow and St. Petersburg. I also enjoyed a cruise on the Wolga to Wolgograd and back to Samara.

From an educational perspective, I can promote the exchange program. The courses were taught in English and conducted in the evening, the workload was more than handable. My home university accepted all exams and as a result, I was able to successfully participate on the double-degree-program between the JLU Giessen and the SSEU. Summing up, I enjoyed the almost 6 months in Samara and can recommend studying there”
