My days in the summer language camp in Nizhny Novgorod were incredible! I want to come back here again!
Russia is a beautiful country. The air here is fresh, the sky is so blue, and the sun shines all the days. The buildings are characteristic. I like churches and museums here. I learnt a lot about Russian culture by visiting them.
The food in Russia is so good. I like sweets and yogurt very much. The chocolate is the best I’ve ever tasted.
Russian people are so nice. They’re kind, especially old people. They helped me a lot. Girls here are beautiful. I want to make friends with all of them.
I liked studying at Lobachevsky University of Nizhny Novgorod. Even after graduating, I miss the student years. The teachers of our faculty were understanding, friendly people, who were always ready to help.
When I went to Russia, I only knew a few words in Russian, but with time, of course, I learned to speak much better. However, there is still much to learn.
The best thing about my student years was a new way of life—that is, meeting new people and the opportunity to live and socialise together with international students from different countries. This is interesting because all international students have a different mentality and culture.
My name is Hussein Abdinoor. I am from Kenya. I studied at the Lobachevsky University of Nizhny Novgorod at the faculty for international students. I pursued my Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and subsequently my Master's in Information Technology specializing in Software Engineering.
I really enjoyed my Bachelor's Programme, which was offered in English. I benefited heavily from the education received from professors who have extensive professional and academic experience. I enjoyed the very open-minded and rich interaction with my classmates from different countries and with varying Backgrounds.
Thanks to the quality of the courses and the professors, I was able to do my own freelancing work in the field of software engineering as a software developer even before finishing my studies. This is why I would recommend the UNN to everyone who is looking for a good university in the field of Information Technology.
I recently completed my Master’s Degree, and I hope to get a job as a programmer in software-developing companies. I’m going to start my own IT consulting and software solutions firm in the future.
Today I am proud and entirely satisfied to have been part of such a university as UNN.
